Interesting. I still don’t know anymore about those spheres than any of them do, but I’m thinking something triggered the transformation in his sphere. That seems obvious, but I mean during the situation itself. I know I’m not the only one who noticed the insane way he was laughing earlier, so I’m thinking it’s possible that the sphere evolve or transform when the host’s mind is in a certain state, or when they are or about to kill. Then again, the sphere could possibly amplify aggression or something like that. Pardon how much thought I’m putting into this. It’s only a guess.
😉 I on the other hand…considers this change an UPGRADE! :/ Question is though, is it permanent (until it deactivation…if its even remotely possible after all this)?
It’s pages like this that make you want to go back and re-read all the other pages to see if you can decipher what is happening to them or if you’ve missed anything.
Hm. This is just a wild guess, but what if those implants are actually some kind of… recruitment tool? I can’t help but notice that what’s growing on Joshua’s hand there looks a LOT like the armor the cyborgs from earlier (and their robots) wore. What if the implants are some kind of test for future soldiers in their army, whoever achieves a complete transformation (which appears to be caused by battle/violence) becomes a member of their unknown cyborg army/group?
Review: Good comic. But too much furry related blood here. And it just spurred my “Kill all furry hating enemies with a Death Machine [Carry-able Vulcan Minigun], and the God Mode/Infinite Ammo cheats get turned on,” defense mechanism.
I’m gonna take a guess at what that thing is or does. I think it’s a cybernetic implant that not only enhances physical abilities, but also grants special abilities/powers. Kinda like Marianne’s lightning hand thing.
So, my immediate assessment as of now is that those mech guys earlier that are trying to kill them are also actually furries except the ‘curse’ on them is complete; meanwhile, everybody that has a jewel on some part of their body (in general) are still in the ‘subdued’ stages of the ‘curse’ but their (parasite?) powers are coming into play as they continue to survive. Maybe.
. . . ok, now I’m REALLy curious as to what happened exactly and what that is that’s on his hand. I wouldn’t say it looks cryptic, but…
I am reminded of a phrase here… “Red Right Hand”.
Except in this case, it’s the left hand. :3p
And it’s yellow…
holy s***, CYBORGANIC!
DAMMIT! You beat me to it!
Well.. this is certainly a twist.

That would be a pretty sweet upgrade if it wasn’t from a forced implant!
Oh I don’t like where this is going.

Rating: 10 STARS BABY!
Comments: Coming from a true furry? Keep it up!

Hm, it is a parasite weapon, I bet. Part of him, yet separate.

my mind is blown o_o…
he took it WAAAAY better than Marianne did
Can’t wait to read more. I love stories like these.
The plot thickens 😛
Though we’ve only seen the gems “expand” twice, I have a theory that this will only happen upon serious injury/passing out.
